Port Renfrew is located 73.4 km (46 miles) north-north west of Sooke on highway 14, Vancouver Island.

The Province of British Columbia In 2012 the ministry replaced the Sombrio no. 3 bridge, west of Jordan River, at a cost of $2.4 million and in 2015 the ministry  replaced a concrete box culvert near “Point No Point” estimated at $200,000. in road improvments between Sooke-Port Renfrew- Lake Cowichan a part of the Pacific Marine Circle Route that crosses Vancouver Island on the West side and connects to the Trans-Canada Highway on the East side. To complete the Pacific Marine Circle Route from this direction you  would turn South from the Trans Canada Highway after leaving Lake Cowichan and then North to catch the Nanaimo Ferry back to Mainland, Vancouver, BC.  You can then complete the circle either way to Victoria or Nanaimo.  2016
From Vancouver to Victoria
There are direct flights from Vancouver International Airport. BC Ferry Service provides regular daily schedules for vehicles to Victoria as well as walk on passenger and bus services both from Vancouver and at the Ferry Terminal as well. Passengers are required to purchase tickets no later than fifteen minutes before scheduled departures. Ferry crossing is approximately 1 ½  hours. From Victoria to Port Renfrew From City of Victoria Municipal Hall head west on Pandora Street towards Broad Street. Turn right on Government Street. A slight right to stay on Government Street turn left on Trans-Canada Highway BC 1-N. Take exit 14 toward Langford/Sooke. Merge onto Millstream Rd/Veterans Memorial Pkwy/BC-14W (signs for Peatt Road) Turn right onto old Sooke Road/Juan de Fuca Hwy/BC- Highway 14 W.
Stay on Sooke Road through villages of Metchosin, Saseenos, and through Sooke. You will pass through the community of Shirley and on through Jordon River. This is the last part of the stretch.Continue on to Parkinson Road. You will come eventually past the Fire Hall on your left and the turn-off to the Pacheedaht Reserve and beach to your right. If you keep going straight you will see the BC Ambulance Station on your right. Across the street is the visitors Information Center. Across from the Fire Hall.
